A composition based on (a) a thermoplastic material contains (b) a multi-layer pigment with a transparent carrier material in the core and three layers of metal oxide with high, low and high refractive indices respectively (outwards from the core). Independent claims are also included for: (i) production of products based on this composition by extrusion or injection molding; (ii) products containing these compositions.
