The three dimensional drive system has six joined struts reacting on device for precise machining operations. The system is designed so that the free ends (14) of the struts (13) are connected respectively jointed with an adjusting element (15). The struts are separately controlled from each other, and are adjustable on a linear track or on a curved track. The individual struts have a specified fixed length. The drive of the respective adjustment elements is arranged by using a threaded spindle (16) designed with a single or multiple threads. The adjustment element is held under a preloading on the threaded spindle. The drive of the respective adjusting element can result using a linear motor, or a toothed rack. A tool (8) is carried at the baseplate.
