The gas regulating and safety manifold has several gas solenoid valves(11-14) incorporated in the body of the manifold, with each valve allocated to an individual burner. The body of the manifold is formed in such a way that gas in the first stage can escape only to a burner connection with a monitored burner. The other burners which are connected to a distributor(3) are shut off by the closed solenoid valves. Through opening of the next gas solenoid valve gas is released to the connected non-monitored burner and to a further solenoid valve which is still closed.
