The user registers specified telephone numbers in memory (11). A telephone number detector (2) detects the telephone number of the calling subscriber. A controller (17) compares the detected telephone number with other numbers stored in memory (11). If a match between detected number and number stored in memory is found, a LED flickers to indicate special call.
