Folding work table comprises base whose upper four ends of leg bars (1, 1', 2, 2') are each articulated with end of four support bars (11, 13') of table surface composed of two half plates (4, 4') of equal surface area. By raising two half plates, base is deployed into X-shape supporting work plane horizontally. Bringing back leg bars into an I-shape enables work surface to be folded.
