The system uses a simulation program which is designed to teach and certify technicians on the use of implantable device logic control units. Before a technician can use the system a teaching/certification program must be activated from the control center, if the technician results exceed a set level, certification is delivered, archived and certification authority is transmitted, which allows the technician access to the system. The system uses: (a) a remote internet based expert control data center (62) having high speed computer resources; (b) a two way communication system between the center and the implantable devices, IMD,s; (c) an implantable device program controller (20), connected to the expert system via the communication system, which monitors and controls the IMD's (10,10',10'') by acquiring data from a number of logic applications, and; (d) at least a specialist simulation program designed to teach and certify program technicians on the operation of the logic application.
