- The subject of the invention covers a process for extracting an active principle with a view to anti-radical and anti-glycation action in order to combat skin aging, characterized in that it comprises the following stages: - grinding sunflower seeds to obtain, on the one hand, an oil and, on the other hand, a deoiled flour, - aqueous solubilization of this flour obtained, at a rate of 10 to 40% by volume, - hydrolysis of proteins in the presence of a protease at acid pH, - separation of the soluble and insoluble phases, - inactivation of this hydrolyzed solution at pH between 2, 0 and 8, 0 at a temperature at least equal to 45degreC, - filtration to purify the active molecules, and- filtration sterilizing membrane to limit the presence of microorganisms, total mesophilic flora, yeast, and molds.The invention also covers the active ingredient obtained, cosmetic compositions using this active ingredient and a method of struggle e against aging.
