The image detection temperature compensation system has photosensitive points, with row (Y1 to Y3) and column (W1,W2,Z1 to Z3) connected to a read circuit (30a,30b). Sets of photosensitive points (O1 to O6) are not exposed to luminous information whilst other sets (R1 to R9) are exposed. The two sets of information are compared in the read circuits, and a correction voltage (VDR) applied to the output data to provide a voltage measure which is temperature independent.
