PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform all required operations for pre-triggering with only one counter by inputting the output of a selector and a flip-flop, and controlling the reset and start of the counting operation of the counter. ;SOLUTION: A data-generating means generates preset code data for indicating a pre-trigger setting value and a counter 3 performs the counting operation of the number of data before a trigger point based on a pre-trigger setting value and a counting operation after the trigger point. A decoder 4 decodes the output of the counter 3 and a multiplexer 2 selects code data from a data- generating means. Then, a selector 5 is controlled by the output of the multiplexer 2 and selects the output of the decoder 4. The output of the selector 5 and a trigger signal (SGA) 12 are inputted to a flip-flop 7. A counter control circuit 8 inputs the output of the selector 5 and the flip-flop 7 and controls the reset and start of the count operation of the counter 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
