PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens unit which is advantageous for obtaining parallel rays of light inside a curved light-transmitting body, such as a tubular lens, while holding down the price and advantageous also for forming a curved light-transmitting body of a very hard material such as sapphire, etc., and to provide a visualization apparatus and a method of designing a correcting lens of the optical lens unit.;SOLUTION: The optical lens unit is provided with a curved light-transmitting body 1, such as a tubular lens, having a light transmitting inside surface 11 along a circular arc surface like the surface of a complete circle and a light transmitting outer surface 13 along a circular arc surface like the surface of a complete circle, and a correcting lens 3 disposed outside the curved light- transmitting body 1 and has a lens inside surface 31 facing the light transmitting outside surface 13 of the curved light-transmitting body 1 and a lens outer surface 33. The shape of the lens outside surface 33 and the lens inside surface 31 of the correcting lens 3 is set so that the optical path lengths of the rays which connect the Y-axis and the A-axis change while keeping mutual quality when the coordinate on the Y-axis is changed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
