PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of an air shower by a method wherein at least 3 rows of air blow-out ports are provided, and the air blow-out ports at the uppermost stages of the first and third rows are arranged at a height of the shoulder of a worker, and the uppermost stage of the second row is arranged at a higher position than the air blow-out ports at the uppermost stages of the first and third rows. ;CONSTITUTION: In an air shower chamber 1, a ceiling part air blow-out port 27 are provided on the ceiling surface, and air blow-out ports and air suction ports 6 are respectively provided on both side surfaces. The air blow-out ports 3 are provided at least 3 rows per one worker, in the advancing direction of the worker in the air shower chamber, and the air blow-out ports 3 at the uppermost stage of the first and third rows are arranged at a height of the shoulder of a worker 15. The air blow-out ports 3 of the central row are arranged at a higher position than the air blow-out ports at the uppermost stages of the first and third rows. Thus, the air blow-out ports of jet air streams of the air shower are arranged at locations where dust and dirt can be efficiently removed.
