PURPOSE: To provide a top HEAT type HEAT pipe, a cooling system and a heating system which require no special outside POWER for the circulation of a working liquid. CONSTITUTION: An adjustment tank 4, which communicates with a vapor phase area of a vaporizer 1, is installed to a higher elevation than the maximum liquid level of the vaporizer 1. The vapor phase area of the vaporizer 1 is made to communicate with a condenser 2, which is installed to a lower elevation than the vaporizer 1, with a steam pipeline 6 while the condenser 2 and the adjustment tank 4 are made to communicate with a liquid pipeline 7. At a communication unit between the vaporizer 1 and the adjustment tank 4, there is installed a control valve 8, which is opened when the liquid level of the adjustment tank 4 is below a specified level or when the liquid level of the adjustment tank 4 exceeds the specified level. An auxiliary tank 3, which is made to communicate with the vaporizer 1 in the vapor phase and the liquid phase ON the same level, is installed to the vaporizer 1. The adjustment tank 4 is made to communicate with the auxiliary tank 3. In this case and the liquid level is detected at the auxiliary tank 3.
