PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overlapped feed preventing member for paper which is excellent in wear resistance, and can be manufactured easily, and reused as raw material polymer.;SOLUTION: A paper feeding mechanism is formed by a paper feed roller 2 and a tray 4. The tray 4 has a separating sheet 6 as this overlapped feed preventing member for paper rather closer to the paper feeding roller 2 on the upper surface thereof. The separating sheet 6 is formed of a thermoplastic polymer composition. In the thermoplastic polymer composition, particles of rubber dynamic cross-linked by a resin cross linking agent are dispersed in the thermoplastic polymer. The thermoplastic polymer contains ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene. The rubber is EPDM. The mixing quantity of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene to the total quantity 100 parts of thermoplastic polymer other than the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene and rubber is from 5 parts to 55 parts both inclusive. The mass ratio of the rubber to the thermoplastic polymer other than the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene is from 20/80 to 70/30 both inclusive.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
