PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication data storage medium, storage medium issuing device and authentication confirming device capable of surely authenticating a person using a portable storage medium and fingerprints.;SOLUTION: In the memory area 2 of an authentication card 1, the name, address, and birthday of a person desiring authentication card issue as basic information 3, the fingerprint data of the person desiring (for multiple fingers as occasion demands) as authentication information 4, and the account number, rental safe number, member number, telephone number or the like of the person as the accompanying information 5 are recorded (registered). In authentication, the authentication card 1 is inserted to the authentication confirmation device to read the above data, and the read fingerprint data are compared with the registered fingerprint data registered in the authentication card 1. When the both are matched, the basic information 3 and the accompanying information 5 are outputted as authentication data from the authentication confirmation device to a central control unit.
