PURPOSE: To obtain a crosslinked polyolefin-based resin foam not impairing the performance of a foam due to lowering, etc., of molecular weight also in irradiating ionizing radiation by selectively using a polypropylene-based resin having high radiation resistance and an expandable polyolefin-based resin composition capable of providing the crosslinked foam. ;CONSTITUTION: This expandable polyolefin-based resin composition is obtained by adding a crosslinking auxiliary consisting of a polyfunctional monomer and a thermal decomposition type foaming agent to a resin component containing a polypropylene-based resin and a polyethylene-based resin having ≥15% swelling ratio measured at 25°C by a xylene extraction method and 30-50% degree of crystallization. This crosslinked polyolefin-based resin foam is obtained by molding the expandable polyolefin-based resin composition in a desired form, irradiating an ionizing radiation to the molded article to crosslink the molded article and heating and foaming the molded article.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
