PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective water-repellent for the coated surface of an automobile hardly leaving a waterdrop on the coated surface and excellent in water repellence and antifouling properties. ;SOLUTION: A wax component selected from at least one of the three, namely, a paraffin wax having a melting point of at least 40°C, a linear alkyl- modified silicone having a melting point of at least 40°C and a Fischer-Tropsch wax having a melting point of at least 40°C is mixed with a fluorinated alkyl ester polymer and a silicone oil to make up a film component composition, which is dissolved in a solvent and emulsified or dispersed to give the water- repellent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
