PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber foam and a seal material for a car having light and high rigidity and excellent in compression set and a shape maintenance. SOLUTION: This rubber foam is obtained by foaming and crosslinking a rubber composition containing at least the following components (A) to (D) wherein a weight ratio of (A)/(B) is 55/45 to 85/15:(A): an ethylene-α-olefin- nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber in which Mooney viscosity is 100-300, a weight ratio of ethylene/propylene is 65/35-50/50, an iodine value is 20-30 and a Q value (Mw/Mn) is 6-10; (B): ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber in which the Mooney viscosity is 20-40, the weight ratio of ethylene/ propylene is 65/35-50/50, the iodine value is 20-30 and the Q value is not more than 3; (C); a polyolefin resin in which a Vicat softening point is 75-85 deg.C; and(D): a foaming agent.
