PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion-of-sediment preventing plate which prevents intrusion of sediment and facilitates mounting work. SOLUTION: The intrusion-of-sediment preventing plate is mounted on a filling body for facilities for storage and seepage of rainwater, etc., which is constituted by arranging a plurality of column parts at prescribed intervals. The intrusion-of- sediment preventing plate is characterized as follows: a hook locked to the filling body is formed in an edge frame provided on a periphery of a plate body having a square shape on a plane; and a notch, into which the hook is fitted, is formed into each of sides. Preferably, the hooks and the notches, respectively, are formed two by two on one side of each of the sides. The plate body can be constituted as follows: many small holes are pierced into the plate body; an annular rib, into which the column part of the filling body is fitted, is provided on one side of the plate body; and the annular ribs are coupled together by a group of reinforcing ribs provided lengthwise, crosswise and diagonally. The reinforcing rib can also be provided inside the annular rib. Preferably, the reinforcing rib inside the annular rib is formed in such a manner as to be lower in height than the annular rib.
