PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a flue gas treatment of an ash-melting boiler provided with a rotary melting furnace for melt treatment of ash captured by a dust collector of a large size coal-fired boiler equipment by a flue-gas treatment equipment attached to the boiler, thus carrying out an economical captured-ash treatment.;SOLUTION: An ash-melting boiler 34 melts the ash captured by the dust collector of the boiler equipment 30, and converts it into slag. The flue of the boiler 34 is connected to a flue-gas treatment equipment of a coal-fired boiler 10 through a low differential-pressure selector valve 60 and a shutoff valve 70, and the flue gas is conducted to a flue gas treatment equipment of the boiler 30 and treated at a normal operation time of the boiler 34. As required, the flue gas is released to the atmospheric air by shutting off the path to the flue-gas treatment equipment by the shutoff valve 70, and switching the selector valve 60.
