METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING CONCENTRATION OF SIZING AGENT IN SIZING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time from the start of operation until control requirements in conjunction with the concentration adjustment of a sizing agent reach a stable state in a sizing machine provided with a wetting unit.;SOLUTION: A supplementary controlling apparatus C2 can take either of an initial execution waiting mode or a reexecution waiting mode. When the supplementary controlling apparatus C2 is in the reexecution waiting mode, the supplementary controlling apparatus C2 displays the registered article-number which is memorized in a registered article-number memory unit 45, on a display unit 50. When the registered article-number displayed on the display unit 50 is specified by an input unit 49, the supplementary controlling apparatus C2 directs the initiation of concentration control of a sizing agent under control conditions memorized in a control-condition memory unit 47 in conjunction with the registered article-number to the main control apparatus C1. Further, the supplementary controlling apparatus C2 starts the operation of the sizing machine under operation conditions memorized in an operation-condition memory unit 46 in conjunction with the registered article-number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
