PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical support system capable of performing installation or maintenance and inspection even for an elevator of a model to which attendants are unaccustomed.;SOLUTION: A central management device having a customer information file recording operating apparatuses for individual customer elevators and a technical information file recording technical information for individual operating apparatuses is installed in a technical center centrally managing the customer elevators. A portable terminal is connected to the central management device via a communications network to transmit the information specifying a customer and the operating apparatuses of the elevator, and the technical information on the operating apparatuses of the customer elevator recorded in the customer information file is read from the technical information file based on the information and returned to the portable terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
