PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin for waterproofing FRP capable of effectively using a recovered PET while holding performance equivalent to a conventional PET and the usage of the same.;SOLUTION: In the unsaturated polyester for waterproofing FRP, the unsaturated polyester is obtained from a raw material consisting of a recycled polyethylene terephthalate together with an acid component at least containing an α,β-unsaturated polybasic acid or its anhydride, and a glycol component. A FRP- waterproofing material for construction and building comprises the unsaturated polyester resin and a fiber reinforcing material, a waterproofing sheet for construction and building is produced by forming and curing the FRP-waterproofing material into a sheet, and a structure of construction and building is produced by integrating a FRP layer made of a cured body of the FRP waterproofing material or the waterproofing sheet as at least a part of the structure, or by forming the top coat resin layer with the unsaturated polyester resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
