PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic neutral resin oil having no metal corrosivity and no irritation in the resin oil collected from the resin oil of evergreen shrub of the cypress family. SOLUTION: The neutral oil extracted from the evergreen shrub of Chamaecyparsi or Thujopsis of the cypress family after removing an acidic component such as thujaplicin (hinokitiol) therefrom is discovered to have no metal corrosivity, warm-keeping and moisture-keeping effects, activities for ameliorating blood circulation, activities for healing wound and promoting formation of epithelium, and antimicrobial and acaricidal activities, and to contain a fragrance component hardly providing unpleasant feeling to a person. The promoter for healing the wound and formation of the epithelium, an auxiliary good for medical treatment, a surface-activating promoter, an acaricidal and antimicrobial material are constituted of the aromatic neutral oil.
