PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art teaching material for a child (a baby or the like) capable of improving cognition, imagination and inventiveness of an image of the child (the baby or the like). SOLUTION: This art teaching material for the child comprises at least one page set. The page set comprises a set of base paper sheets 10, 20 each having a background design; and a common paper sheet 30 disposed between the base paper sheets 10, 20, selectively overlapping the base paper sheets 10, 20 to harmonize with each other. By providing composite designs of the base paper sheets 10, 20 and the common paper sheets 30, the child sees the composite designs, associates the composite designs with something and draws. Thereby, development of the imagination and inventiveness of the child is assisted.
