PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road guide system for pedestrian applying supplementary data such as stairs, an elevator and an escalator, a difference in steps, and a road width to road data.;SOLUTION: This road guide system for pedestrian consists of an input specifying part 1 in which a start point and a destination for road guide are inputted, a road data storage part 2, a supplementary data storage part 3 storing supplementary data such as stairs, the elevator and the escalator, the difference in steps, and the road width by corresponding it to the road data, a path generation part 4 calculating path cost from the road data and the supplementary data and generating the optimum path from the start point to the destination inputted from the input specifying part, and a presentation generation part 5 generating the path obtained in the path generation part into a form easy for a user to understand.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
