PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fundamentally resolve a problem to hold freshness on delivery of a perishable food to a home by a conventional chill car, to reduce power consumption of the refrigerator of the chill car, and to improve transportation and delivery to a home.;SOLUTION: In a method for transporting perishable foods to a home by using the chill car 1, a container 2 is provided to consist of a container body 3 and a cover plate 4 to close the upper opening of the container body 3. On the other side, a cold storage plate precooled to a cold insulation temperature of the perishable food is prepared. The cold storage plates are removably incorporated on six surfaces of inside surfaces and the inner bottoms of the container bodies 3 and the inner surface of the cover plate 4. Perishable foods are contained in a perishable food containing chamber partitioned by the cold insulation plates. A number of the containers 2 to contain the perishable foods 2 are loaded in a refrigerating chamber 14 of the chill car 1.
