PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently excavate a pile hole by using an adequate amount of excavating liquid, cement milk or the like by the automatic control in response to soil strength, to rationally achieve the construction of a foundation pile structure suited to the soil and to reduce the amount of discharge of slurry and the amount of earth discharge.;SOLUTION: Excavated material is adhered to the wall of hole with adhering drums 5 and 5a while excavating a pile hole with an excavating head 2 of the excavating rod 1. Stratum not expected for a bearing capacity is excavated without using excavating liquid such as water when excavating one pile hole, and stratum expected for bearing capacity is excavated (a, b) by using excavating liquid such as water as an auxiliary means for the excavation. An integrated electric current value during excavation is measured and in correspondence with the soil strength during excavation, whether the excavating liquid is to be used or not and the amount of use when using the liquid is automatically controlled. The amount of discharge and the position of discharge of the cement milk to the inside of a widened bottom portion is automatically controlled and adequate soil cement 11 is formed (c) by agitation and mixing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
