PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for calculating the scale of program development for a digital exchange that automatically calculates the scale of program development of the digital switch with correction by taking the difficulty level and the efficiency of the program development into account.;SOLUTION: The program development scale calculation device stores the difficulty level of development of programs with respect to the operating system, applications and connections and the development efficiency of each process from the design of program development to various tests, corrects the development scale obtained from a difference between an old source program and a new source program by means of weighting depending on the stored difficulty level of program development and the stored development efficiency by each process and provides an output of the result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
