PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press work charge method and a work charge apparatus capable of improving a press speed by shortening transfer time of a workpiece and at the same time, capable of positively loading the workpiece inside a hole section of the press die.;SOLUTION: The workpiece 1 is fed to a pass-through section 42 of a shoe 35 which moves horizontally on the die plate 22. Next, the shoe 35 reciprocates and the workpiece 1 loaded in the pass-through section 42 due to the shoe's standstill is halted between the prescribed feed position c and the press position d. In this opportunity, the workpiece 1 in the prescribed feed position c is sent to the pass-through section 42, through which process the workpiece 1 loaded in the pass-through section 42 is transferred to the die 23, keeping a stable attitude, and the workpiece 1 enters the hold section 23a inside the die 23 without fail.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
