PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector and a mold assembly for the collector, which can solve a problem such as the development of the shrinkages near the gas- liquid displacement part of the collector and the thickness portion of blades at the molding of the collector without hindering the excellent writing quality intrinsic to a collector type writing utensil and at low cost. SOLUTION: The collector 5 is molded through injection of a resin in a mold cavity 24. The shrinkages at respective parts can be prevented from developing by employing the collector 5 having resin influx parts 20 and 21 from gates 20a and 21a formed at the two or an axially fore part and an axially back part of the collector.
