SOLUTION: In the laser beam irradiation device 10 for the laser beam trimming device, which is provided with a laser oscillator 11 furnished with a Q switch unit 11a, a Q switch driver 13 which drives the Q switch unit, and a control part 15 which drives and controls the Q switch driver, a programmable timer circuit 25 of the control part adjusts the time T2 (=T3-T1) for which the Q switch driver is operated so that the pumping time T1 of the laser oscillator is kept constant independent of the period T3 decided by a Q switch frequency.
