METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PASTING FOR SINGLE-FACED CORRUGATED CARDBOARD PRODUCTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize defective paste application generated by a pasting roll rebound phenomenon which is generated by the paper thickness of a paper joining part, when the paper joining part passes between the second stage roll of a single-faced corrugated cardboard production apparatus and the pasting roll.;SOLUTION: In steady production by the single-faced corrugated cardboard production apparatus, the pasting roll is pressed toward the second stage roll by the first press force for applying an optimum amount of paste on a corrugating medium by the pasting roll. When the paper joining part passes, it is pressed by the second press force to minimize the pasting roll rebound phenomenon generated by the paper thickness of the paper joining part, while the quality deterioration and breakage or mechanical damage of the corrugating medium are prevented. After the passage of the paper joining part, control to change over to the first press force is done.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
