PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof connector wherein a tip of a terminal is made to be smoothly inserted into an insertion hole of a water-proof member by suppressing a gradient of the terminal by having a length of the terminal insertion guide hole of a rear holder sufficiently long as necessitated.;SOLUTION: This water-proof connector is equipped with the water-proof member 60 fitted and inserted into the base end side of a housing 20 and wherein the insertion hole 63 of an electric wire 30 is formed, and with a rear-holder 70 wherein a terminal insertion guide hole 73 is formed which has a prescribed diameter and which is fitted and inserted into the base end side of the housing 20 from outward of the water-proof member 60 through a temporary locking position up to the final locking position, and which fixes this water-proof member 60 at the final locking position, and which is communicated with the insertion hole 63. The terminal 31 is inserted into the insertion hole 63 from the terminal insertion guide hole 73 at a temporary locking position of the rear-holder 70. The length L of the terminal insertion guide hole 73 is extended so that the tilting degree of the tip of the terminal 31 remains within the tilting range so as not to interfere with the peripheral part of the end face of the insertion hole 63 when the tip is inserted into this terminal insertion guide hole 73.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
