METHOD OF PREVENTING STICKING OF POWDER ON INSIDE WALL OF BALL MILL POT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of effectively pulverizing and mixing powder without causing the sticking of the powder on the inside of a ball mill pot even in the case of using the most general cylindrical ball mill pot operated by being rotated around a center axis and treating a large quantity of the powder having high sticking property.;SOLUTION: The sticking of the powder on the inside wall of the pot is effectively prevented by applying a lining 2 of a silicone rubber having a hardness of 50-70 based on JIS K6301 on the whole surface of the inside of the ball mill pot 1. The lining of the silicone rubber is performed by lining a silicone rubber sheet on the whole surface of the inside wall of the ball mill pot or fixing detachably a cassette formed by lining the silicone rubber sheet on the inside wall of a cylindrical body formed to be agreed with the shape of the inside surface of the ball mill pot.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
