PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably connect a branch pipe to a main pipe without cutting the main pipe.;SOLUTION: A joint 21 made of a pair of nearly semicylindrical joint halves 22 and 23 is used. Both joint halves 22 and 23 are coupled with the outer peripheral side of the main pipe 1A of a culvert catchment/drainage pipe 1, and both joint halves 22 and 23 are fixed together in a cylindrically closed state by bolts 26 and nuts 27. One end section of the branch pipe 1B of the culvert catchment/ drainage pipe 1 is inserted and connected to a pipe junction 28 integrally formed on the outer peripheral section of the joint half 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
