PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a convenience store with a merchandise delivery box attached to it, a post office with the merchandise delivering box used in common as a post-office box attached to it and the merchandise delivering box with an online settling system shop attached to it which can suppress degradation of the using efficiency of a store space or the increase of time and labor in a shop having the online settling system shop in a convenience store or a post office.;SOLUTION: The merchandise delivery box 50 attached to the convenience store 5 has many housing rooms having doors which can be open/close-controlled individually. A forwarding agent stocks delivered merchandise by a mail-order sale in the prescribed housing room of the box 50. A purchasing person pays a charge to the storage 5 and takes out the pertinent delivered merchandise from the box 50.
