PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily, quickly and efficiently producing the binderless molded body of a high purity low silica X type zeolite high in its content and crystallinity, extremely high in both pressure-resistant strength and wear resistant strength, and excellent in adsorptivity, and also provide a method for efficiently separating a gas using the high purity low silica X type zeolite.;SOLUTION: In this binderless molded body of a high purity low silica X type zeolite, the peak strength attributed to the index 220 of a faujasite type zeolite in an X-ray diffraction is stronger than that of the index 311, and about 60% to about 90% of replaceable cationic portion is sodium, and the whole or a part of the balance is potassium, or alternatively a part of or the whole replaceable cationic portion is ion-exchanged with lithium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
