Thin resistance wires (8) are deposited in a curved form on a thermoplastic film (1, 2) intended for the manufacture of a car glazing that can be electrically heated. The thermoplastic film (1, 2) is kept by vacuum on the surface of a cylindrical drum (11) having a perforated cylindrical wall. The drum (11) is rotated and the wire (8) deposited and fixed on the film with the aid of a wire deposition apparatus (26). The wire deposition apparatus (26) is mounted on a carriage (20) that is able to move parallel to the longitudinal axis of the drum (11). The carriage (20) is driven by means of a moving screw (21) rotated by a drive motor (22). The drive motor (22) is controlled by a processor (35) via a regulating amplifier (24) controlled by said processor (35) in accordance with a time-travel program established in accordance with the desired curved shape of the wire (8).
