摘要

he invention describes a new immunoenzymic method for the quantification of thyroxine and triiodothyronine in human serum. The said hormones bond with glycogen phosphorylase b deriving from rabbit muscle tissue.The method is based on the inhibition of the activity of phosphorylase b when it is conjugated with poliodothyronines and its activation when the conjugated hormone bonds with the appropriate antibody against the polyiodothyronine.In an aqueous solution that contains an unidentifiedconcentration of hormone, conjugated phosphorylase and antibody, the free and the conjugated hormone molecules will be competing for the antibody and thus, the enzymic activation caused by the antibody will decrease. The concentration of the hormonein the unknown sample is determined with the use of a standard chart depicting the activation of enzymic activity in relation to known hormone concentration.
