It is imperative to ensure optimum microflora conditions for odor decomposing environmentally friendly biological air-purifiers. The efficiency of these is measured by changes in air resistance. Biological inset charges tend to compact while the purifiers are used, causing a loss of efficiency. Biological charges are reconditioned in regenerating units where they are subjected to an intensive, but sparing classification process. Those parts which contributed to deterioration of air flow resistance are removed and the inset is reintroduced into the air-purifier.
