Signals between a GPS satellite (1) in earth orbit (4) and a receiver (3) on the ground, have to pass through the ionosphere (5) and the troposphere (6), The changes in signals caused by disturbances in the atmosphere can cause inaccuracies. The present system uses a rotor to continually move the GPS antenna in a circle. A computer system analyses the differences in signal as the antenna rotates and compensates for errors.
