Gellable pharmaceutical compositions comprising active substance, phospholipid, solvent and fatty acid and their use for the controlled release of one or more active substances by subcutaneous and/or intramuscular injection

A fluid pharmaceutical composition which allows the release of at least one active substance and which comprises: i) A therapeutically effective amount of at least one active substance; ii) From 3 to 55% by weight of phospholipid; iii) From 16 to 72% by weight of pharmaceutically acceptable solvent; and iv) From 4 to 52% by weight of fatty acid; The composition has the property of gelling instantaneously in the presence of an aqueous phase. The above described pharmaceutical composition is useful for the controlled release of one or more substances by subcutaneous and/or intramuscular injection wherein the medicament has the property of gelling instantaneously in the presence of an aqueous phase.
