This invention is intended for a method and mechanism for election/sorting and elimination of impurities from pulverized or pieced materials, especially wood pieces and fiber materials. The materials to be elected / sorted are fed into a roll apparatus, substantially consisting of certain amount of adjacent parallel rolls, and run through an advantageous action by aforementioned rolls and so particles of materials with highest density tend towards the sections nearest to the surface of rolls, to below and material fractions that are in the sections nearest to the surface of rolls are separated through spaces between pair of rolls with a space width (B) wider than space width (A) of previous pair of rolls.
