CONTAINER FOR STORING AND TRANSPORTING ECOLOGICALLY DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES AND RADIOACTIVE WASTE OF LOW AND MEDIUM ACTIVITY

The proposed container for storing and transporting ecologically dangerous substances and radioactive waste of low and medium activity contains a casing with an internal wall, an external wall, and a cover. The cavity between the container walls is filled with protecting material. The cover and the internal wall are made of cast crystalline glass material, preferably from mineral material. The internal wall is designed as a monolithic shell in the form of an ellipsoid of rotation. The cover is equipped with an anchor and fitted to the upper part of the casing by a flanged connection. The external wall is designed as a closed cylindrical shell. As the protecting material, mix of granulated slag (ferroalloy production waste) and rubber crumbs from utilized auto tires is used.
