Multiple syringe device comprising a plunger (6) containing openings (7) that allow the finger cap (9) on the cylinder (5) to pass through, these openings can be covered with a disc (8) which will automatically expose the opening and allow the cylinder with its finger cap to pass through if the injection force exceeds a given value. An injection device for gradually injecting a large amount of substance comprises a holder for a number of parallel syringes (4) containing substances. The holder has at least one plunger for simultaneously depressing all the syringe cylinders in order to expel the substances. The plunger contains a number of openings corresponding to the number of syringes and each opening has a size and shape that allows the finger cap on the cylinder to pass through the opening, which can be covered with a disc. The finger cap is in contact with the disc during depression of the plunger. The disc is held in place over the opening with a pre-determined level of force adapted to the level of force required to inject the substance, but if this latter level of force is exceeded, the disc will automatically expose the opening and allow the cylinder with its finger cap to pass through the opening, so that pressure is no longer applied to that syringe.
