Distress call system and electronic location for the rescue of people who need help, where the system is made of a receiver and at least one distress call sender and the receiver has a GPS (Global Positioning System) module for checking its own position and a radio receiver to receive the distress call, and the distress call sender presents a GPS (Global Positioning System) module for checking its own position and a transmitter, which transfers this position to the receiver by means of a carrier frequency as a distress call, characterized in that a receiver with a display (screen), in a housing, apart from the GPS module and the radio receiver, is used to calculate and represent the data received by the GPS module, and the radio receiver and the distress call sender is located in the same housing as the GPS module and is equipped with a pair fixing system to secure the sender to the person who is to be protected in a safe way against losses, so as to guarantee a transfer of data by radio to the receiver free of disturbances, without prejudicing the freedom of movement.
