摘要

The present invention is a method for measuring the mass flowrate of liquid flow exiting a two phase (gas/liquid) feed nozzle. Themethod includes determining the Power Spectral Density from the outputof a vibrational sensor (accelerometer or dynamic pressure sensor) inclose proximity to the nozzle or in contact with the fluid within thenozzle in a frequency band that includes resonant peaks whose magni-tude or area is strongly dependent on the mass flow rate of the liquidand which increases as the flow increases. Measurement of the area ofthe resonant peaks or of a band of frequencies that includes them canbe correlated with the liquid flow and is insensitive to the gas flow.
