Use of a protein kinase c inhibitor to enhance the clinical efficacy of anti-neoplastic chemotherapeutic agents and radiation therapy

Methods are disclosed for treating a neoplasm which comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof, an anti-neoplastic agentor therapeutic radiation in combination with 3-[1-(1-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)piperidin-4-yl)-indol-3-yl]-4-(1-methylindol-3-yl)-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, and for enhancing the anti-neoplastic effect of anti-neoplasticagents or therapeutic radiation which comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof, 3-[1-(1-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)piperidin-4-yl)-indol-3-yl]-4-(1-methylindol-3-yl)-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione in combination with said anti-neoplastic agent or said therapeuticradiation having an anti-neoplastic effect.
