CD36 POLYMORPHISMS

摘要

There is disclosed a series of novel single nucleotide polymorphisms in the human CD36 gene which provide a genetic basis for a CD36 negative phenotype. Genetic methods of screening for susceptibility to hypertension, abnormalities in fatty acid metabolism and abnormalities of glucose metabolism based on the use of the polymorphisms are also described.
