The invention discloses a new polypeptide-human EHD protein 9.57, the polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide, and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant DNA technology. It also discloses methods of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various diseases, such as fetation abnormality, tumor, immune deficiency, neural system dysfunction disease, and protein metabolism disorder. This invention also discloses antagonist against said polypeptide and thereof therapy uses. In addition, it refers to the use of said polynucleotide encoding this new human EHD protein 9.57.
